Vermicelli Payasam / Kheer.

 
 




Vermicelli Payasam  /  Kheer

 

Roasted Vermicelli 4 tbsp

Milk : 1 ltr

Sugar : 1 cup

Ghee : 2 tsp

Cardamom : 3

Cashews : 6

Raisins : 6

          Roast vermicelli in 1 tsp of ghee till golden brown .

Add milk and cook till it reduce to half of its quantity .   Stir often to avoid burning . 

Add Sugar and cook till sugar melts completely.   No need to cook further.

Add powdered cardamom. 
 
In 1 tsp of  ghee fry cashews and raisins and garnish in Kheer.  

This will be thick like kheer. 
 
 

If you want thinner version like payasam , you can add some more boiled milk.

Serve Hot  /  Cold .

Very easy and tasty Vermicelli  /  Semiya  Kheer  is ready .
