Amratsari Veg Pulav





Amratsari  Veg  Pulav

 

1 cup of  Basmathi rice ( soak for 15 mts )
½  carrot ( chopped )
5  beans ( chopped )
½  capsicum ( chopped )
3 green chillies, slit
½  piece of cinnamon
2 green cardamom, lightly crushed
2 cloves
¼  tsp of cumin seeds
salt to taste

1  tbsp of ghee

2 cups of water

 
In a pressure pan heat ghee and fry cumin seeds, green chillies ... and when  cumin seeds  becomes golden brown  add cardamom , cinnamon, cloves and give a stir.   Add all the other items.   Mix nicely …  Cook for a whistle. 

Serve  with  Papad /  Raitha  .
