Basmathi
rice ---
1 cup ( soak for 30 mts and drain
)
Tomato -- 4 big
( finely chopped )
Green
chillies -- 1 (
slit )
Mint +
Coriander leaves -- ½ cup (
finely chopped )
Curry leaves
-- 5 ( Finely chopped )
Ginger+
garlic - 1 tsp ( crushed )
Garam masala
powder - ½ tsp
Turmeric
powder – ¼ tsp
Chilli
powder -- 1 ½ tsp
Beetroot
- 1 tsp ( finely chopped )
Black Cardamom
-- ¼ tsp ( powder )
Salt to
taste
Sugar – ½ tsp
Water
-- 1 cup
To Temper
:
Oil -- 2 tbsp
Bay leaf
-- 1
Onion
-- 1 ( finely chopped )
Method :
In a
pressure pan , Temper the given ingredients .
After onion
turns into golden in colour, add all the ingredients including water.
Cook for a
whistle . …
Fluff up
gently after opening .
Serve hot with
Chips / Raitha / Salad.
