Cholam / Great millet / Jowar Idly
Vella Cholam - 2 cups
Raw Rice – 1 cup
Urad dal / Black gram – 1cup
Fenugreek seeds – ½ tsp
Soak all the
ingredients together for 4 hrs and grind nicely in wet grinder, adding water. Finally add 2 ½ tsp of salt and mix nicely.
Ferment the batter for 8 hrs.
Steam cook Idly for 10 mts.
