Methi Muthiya
1 cup
--Besan ( Kadalai maavu )
1 tbsp --
Roasted Rawa/ Suji .
2/3 cup -- Fresh methi leaves ( Vendhaya
keerai )
1/3 cup -- Coriander leaves
1 or 2 -- green chillies.
1 small piece -- ginger
1/2 tsp -- garam masala powder
1/3 tsp -- turmeric powder
1 tsp -- lemon juice
1 tsp -- sugar
2 tsp -- chopped cashews
salt to taste
Grind: Methi & coriander leaves, green
chillies, ginger, sugar coarsely.
Add all the other ingredients... mix well by
adding less water.
Pat into the desired shape and deep fry. Serve
with Tomato chilly sauce.
Note: Add 1 tbsp. of hot oil just before
shaping the dough.
