FALAFEL
Cooked white
chickpeas -- 1 cup ( Don’t cook too mushy )
Onion
-- 1 ( finely chopped )
Garlic - 2
cloves ( finely chopped )
Coriander seeds --
1 tsp ( crushed )
Green chilly
-- 1 ( finely chopped )
Cumin seeds -- ½ tsp ( crushed )
Black Pepper
--
½ tsp ( crushed )
Maida or
wheat flour -- 2 tbsp
Coriander
leaves -
3 tbsp ( finely chopped )
Amchur
powder / Mango powder -- ½ tsp
Salt to
taste
Oil for deep
frying.
Grind chickpeas coarsely and mix with all the
ingredients nicely.
Shape them
into patties adding little hot oil.
Deep fry
till it becomes golden in colour.
Serve hot /
cold with sauce.
