Green Gram Bean Sweet Sundal  /  Payaru vella Sundal
Green gram beans : ¼ cup
Jaggery powder : ½ cup
Grated coconut : 2 tbsp
Mace  / Jadhipattiri /  Javatri powder :  2 pinches
Cloves /  Krambu / Lavang powder  :  2 pinches
Ghee :  1 tsp
          Soak green gram bean overnight .  Drain the water.
Cook for a whistle in sufficient water in pressure pan.  Should get cooked well able to mash easily.  ( This is just for checking its doneness ,  No need to mash. ).   Drain the water .
Microwave cooking :
In microwave safe bowl , MW  jaggery powder with a tbsp. of water in high for a minute.   Filter to remove impurities.
Add cooked green gram bean + coconut + ghee + powdered spices with jaggery syrup and MW for 5 mts in high or till the moisture gets absorbed.   Stir once in between. 
Stove top method :
In a pan, Heat jaggery powder with a tbsp. of water and filter to remove  sand and dust.  
In the same pan add filtered jaggery syrup + cooked green gram + coconut + ghee + spices and cook in low flame till it absorbes all the moisture . 
Very tasty and easy to prepare Green gram bean Sweet Sundal is ready for a healthy snack.
Can prepare this Sundal for neivedhyam during Navrathri Days .
