Ivy  Gourd  /  Kovakkai  Thogayal. 
Kovakkai  ( Ivy gourd)
:   100 grams 
( slit into four )
Chopped Onion :  1
tbsp 
Garlic : 1 clove  
Salt to taste  
Oil : 1 tbsp
Raw Tamarind ---  1 tamarind seed size ( Puliyangottai )
Red chilly : 1
Grated Coconut :  2
tsp
Idly Milagai Podi : 2 tsp
In oil fry onion, garlic, red
chilly and tamarind till onion turns golden … remove and keep it aside.
In same pan, stir fry Ivi gourd / kovakkai …  
Kovakkai should get cooked but should not become mushy.  
It should still be crispy. Don’t add salt while cooking. 
Grind all together coarsely  with salt (very less), coconut and Idly
milagai podi.  
Have with hot rice .
