Tomato Rasam / Thakkaali Rasam




Tomato   Rasam

 

Tomato  :  3

Green chilly : 1


Rasam Powder : 2 tsp

Turmeric powder : 2 pinches

Hing powder : 2 pinches

Cooked Toor dal : 2 tsp

Salt to taste

Sugar : ½  tsp

Curry leaves : 2 leaves

Water :  2 cups

Coriander leaves : few for garnishing.


 

       Grind tomato, green chilly and curry leaves to a paste.

Add all the other ingredients except cooked dal and cook for 10 mts.

Add cooked dal and give a nice boil. 
Add premade tempering and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with hot rice and Curry / Kootu / Appalam.
