Ladies Finger Curry / Vendaikai Curry / Bindi Sabji






Ladies Finger Curry /  Vendaikai Curry /  Bindi Subji

 

Ladies Finger :  ½  Kg ( chopped )

Sambar Powder :  4 tsp
Besan : 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil : 3 tbsp

Mustard :  ½ tsp

Bengal gram : 1 tsp

          Wash ladies finger and dry them well before chopping.  Remove tip of both ends and chop.

In Pan heat oil and temper with mustard.  When it starts popping add Bengal gram .  When Bengal gram turns into golden brown add chopped ladies finger   Turn the flame to low and cook with closed lid.

Stir occasionally for uniform cooking.

When it is almost cooked add salt, sambar powder , Besan powder and mix well and cook in open pan for 5 mts. 

Remove from flame .

Serve with hot Rice and Sambar / Rasam .
