Unboiled Morkuzhambu / Pachcha Morkuzhambu




 

Pacha morkuzhambu / Unboiled   Morkuzhambu

Bengal gram -- 3  tsp,

Coriander seeds  -- 3  tsp,

Red chilli -- 3,

Pepper  --  ½  tsp,

Cumin  -- ½ tsp

Grated  coconut  --  2 tsp

 In coconut oil roast the above ingredients.   Finally add a pinch of turmeric powder and give a stir.     Grind everything in to power.  

Other Ingredients needed: 

Thick Curd ( Slightly sored curd gives better taste ) --  2 cup.

Hing  --  1 pinch

Salt to taste

Veg:  Any one of the below option .

Cooked veg --  ¼ cup .  (  Ash Gourd  or   Drumstick  etc. )

(OR )

Fried Manithakkali or   Sundaikkai   --  1 tsp

( OR )

Stir Fried Ladies finger or   Brinjal , etc. --  1 tbsp

( OR )

Finely  sliced Raw cucumber  --  1 tbsp.

Method: 

 Churn Curd nicely.   Add  veg,  salt, Hing, and ground powder.   Mix well. Temper with mustard and curry leaves.   Garnish with coriander leaves. No need to boil the kuzhambu.

Serve  with  Rice  /  Chithranna  /  Tiffin.
