SAMBAR / KUZHAMBU



     Sambar / Kuzhambu is a lentil-based vegetable  stew made with tamarind .   It is thick in consistency .  It is served along with any Tiffin or Rice.   

      Sambar is very popular in South Indian cuisines.   In south Indian thali,  Sambar rice is served first and then Rasam rice and finally Curd rice ,  the correct method of serving.
