Pepper Rice /  Milagu  Sadham



Pepper Rice /  Milagu Annam /  Kali Mirch Pulav

 

Basmathi Rice : 1 cup

Pepper : 3 tsp ( crushed )

Cumin seeds : 2 tsp ( crushed )

Curry leaves : 10

Dhaniya powder : 1 tsp

Ghee :  2 tbsp

Cashews : 5 ( chopped )

Salt to taste

          Cook rice + dhaniya powder with 2 cups of  water , for 2 whistles in pressure cooker, using inner vessel. 

In ghee , roast Cashews + pepper + Cumin seeds + Curry leaves till cashews turns into golden yellow in colour.

Add salt and roasted ingredients with cooked rice and mix nicely. 

Very tasty pepper rice is ready .  
 
 
 Though the number of ingredients are very less , this rice taste so good.

Serve with Morkuzhambu  /  Pappad .
