Peanut Sundal / Kadalai Sundal



Peanut  sundal /  Kadalai  Sundal



Peanut  sundal

 

Peanuts :  1 cup

Green chilly : 2 ( chopped )

Oil : 1 tsp

Mustard seeds : ½ tsp

Salt to taste

Turmeric powder :  1 pinch

Hing powder : 1 pinch

Mango pieces : 1 tbsp

Coconut pieces : 1 tbsp

Black gram dal / Urad dal : 1 tsp

           Soak Peanuts for 6 to 8 hrs.

Cook in pressure pan for a whistle.

In a pan heat oil, temper with mustard seeds and when it starts popping add black gram dal.  When dal becomes golden in colour add green chilly , hing and sauté for few secs. Add  cooked peanuts, salt , turmeric powder .  Stir for a minute in low flame.

Garnish with mango and coconut pieces.
 
 

Beach style  Peanut Sundal is ready to serve as a snack.
