Patani Sundal / Peas Sundal






Peas Sundal /  Patani Sundal

 

Peas : 1 cup

Green Chilly : 2  (slit )

Coconut : 2 tbsp ( grated )

Curry leaves : few

Sugar : 1 pinch

Oil : 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Mustard : ½  tsp

Black gram dal / Urad dal : ½ tsp

Hing powder : 1 pinch

Carrot : 1 tbsp ( grated )

          In Micro Wave , cook peas adding 1 tsp of water for 6 mts , stirring once in between. ( you can also cook in stove top )

Meanwhile, in a stove top… heat oil and temper with mustard seeds.

When mustard starts to pop, add dal.  When the dal becomes golden in colour add green chilly , curry leaves , hing and give a nice stir. 

Add cooked peas, sugar, salt , grated coconut, carrot and Mix nicely.

Peas Sundal is ready to serve.
